Just to clear things up about my sewing room. Several people have commented about my sewing room in the picture. Unfortunately the room in the picture is not my sewing room. I live in a "snowbird" RV resort in Florida in the winter. The room in the picture is the clubhouse where many different activities are held. On Thursdays we have a quilting bee where anyone in our park interested in quilting can come and get help with projects , help others with theirs, or just observe what others are working on, or work on their own projects. The picture was taken on the last "bee" of the season, as most "snowbirds" are preparing to head back home in the north. Thanks all for all of the comments.

I simply cut as many 2 1/2 X 6 inch strips needed to make a long enough binding and sewed together and attached as usual.
