    Cassandra's Musical Quilt

Cassandra is very gifted musically. I found the panels and knew it had to be hers. After piecing, I hand quilted around each instrument, them quilted musical clef's down both sides. The back is plain (no extra do-dads) as it is a beautiful red musical print. Last night while looking thru my books, I found the perfect label!! One more Christmas gift down!! One to go!! Sorry for the shadows!

Beautiful quilt and very fitting for a music lover.
I don't want to brag but I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school.

@ nellybelle, it was at a local shop, we have several in Phoenix. Would you like me to try and find it? If I do, one or two? This was made with 2 panels.

Love the musical fabric panels. Quite clever how you put it all together. Yes, it looks like wood. Love the backing also. Nice to see the hand quilting.

I love it! I'm going to be making a musical quilt for my oldest son who is a keyboard player. I already have the fabric...just looking for that "special" block design.
