As some of you know I'm working on a casserole carrier design to base a tutorial on. I'm custom making the carrier to a specific casserole.. here's my prototype.. almost done.

inside the carrier.. it's basically 2 strips

casserole sitting in it's new home

sides fold in and will have ties

all wrapped up

still some binding to add.. but you get the idea.

Very nice, I would have put the section with the handles on the bottom, it would give more support.

I thought about it but decided it didn't matter for a couple of reasons..
#1.. the two pieces are securely stitched and quilted together
#2 the inside strip wraps snugly around the casserole and ties on top.. so it's doubly secured.. not like it can came apart.

I have one and it is made just exactly like you have made it. I love it and have had more people comment on it. Guess I should make some for friends.

Great job.
