Congratulations on such a cute casserole cover. I too hope you have great success for your orders for them. They are originals after all.

I have been thinking of making some casserole covers for gifts. These are cute and seem to have been fast since the placemats are already quilted. So the top one has a square finished off the size of the tab and the bottom one has the tab made with a square buttonhole twice the width of the tab that comes up through to hold the wooden spoon right? The only question is, did you use the thermal cloth inside?

Actually I just put 2 button holes on the top and the bottom, making sure that they were lined up. Then you just thread the spoon thru. I hope this makes since. No I didn't use the thermal cloth. Some of the ladies are doing this but I didn't on these. I just used two placemats that I bought at the dreaded Walmart.

Thanks ccbear1
I ran across this free pattern on the microwave baked potato bags recently. I thought you might have some success selling these too. :) :D

I love your casserole carrier but I don't understand? It doesn't look anything like the one the link leads you to? Do you just slide the dish in on one side? If I understand right, there is no handles?
