    All my cats over the decades have done the same thing. They think you made a new clean bed for them. LOL I don't know what it is like to have a quilt without cat hair. Got to love those fur babies. :) Here is my fur baby, Cinder.

    Can totally relate. It's just not a quilt without cat hair :lol:
    In fact my Christmas tree skirt is still folded and lying in
    a dining room chair because our Sophie has chosen it as her favorite place to sleep.
    When I tried to put it away she threw a hissy fit...literally!!

    She is beautiful!!!
    That is exactly what happened when I was making my grandson his dinosaur quilt. See Buddy in my avatar. He decided it was his before it was done!! Of course Todd won out but Buddy got to sleep on it first!!

    I know that with my cross stitch, we usually refer to it as a 'specialty fiber'. Guess that applies here too. As you can tell from my avatar. <------

    That's the old man in my house - besides my husband. That is Boomer - although it has slowly changed to booger - and he was a rescue, just like everyone else in our house. He came from the shelter when he was 4 days old and I hand raised him. He is now almost 10yo.
