Beautiful! I can't quite make out how you sewed the blocks together. All the ones I've seen the curved edges were sewed down. Yours looks fluffy for want of a better word. I like it a LOT. It reminds me of a little flower where your corners join. How did you do it?

It is beautiful, Kim. What an undertaking for your first quilt. After doing a cathedral window the rest will be a breeze!

[quote=Baloonatic]Your FIRST quilt? Are you nuts?!

That's exactly what I was told when I tackled a king size Cathedral Windows for my first project!

I'm still nuts 'cuz my second quilt was a Tumbling Blocks!

That is a beautiful quilt. I have never seen the cathaderal Window done that way. I like to use the base in a color. I did a wall hanging with black and I am working on one for my granddaughter in lime green.(her favorite color)

I find that the Cathaderal Window is not hard and when you are done, you are done.
