    Lovely quilt may i ask how your squares rounded with white color?
    Is it some kind of braid or ribbons around them?

    I am curious as to your method. Traditional CW are completed as you go, therefor no, batting or backing is required. You say it is heaving so I am guessing you did the folded method. If that is the case bind it and be done would be my suggestion. Very pretty quilt either way!!!

    Here is a video that shows one of the ways to make this type of cathedral window block. It would need a back and binding. And would create the white border in an easy way.
