I finished the center blocks this afternoon and have started adding the border around those blocks. So far for this quilt I 've made 8 - Eight pointed stars, 7 - Star Flower blocks, 4 Rising stars, 3 Martha Washington stars. I need to make 4 corner blocks I am not sure what star pattern I will use for those. In between the center blocks and borders there will be several rows of smaller various blocks I still have to make those in other words still lots of sewing before its finished.

opps I guess the photographer is a little crocked

perhaps something other than a star block will frame the quilt nicely. Lots of stars there and might need a corner relief - even stars in the sky have a "black hole" occasionally to set them apart. Not really a black hole but something other than a star
