I used your name plate technique on this! Thanks for the tutorial! This was my result from an ugly fabric exchange at my guild after which we were challenged to make something from it expressing the theme: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The woman's hair, eyes, lips, clothes, jewelry and makeup were all cut from my ugly fabric piece, which I used for the center of the backing, the piece with all the little country scenes. It is kind of a silly quilt, but I had fun making it and I learned a few things regarding fusing and got a chance to practice FMQ!
