We received a paper bag with 4 fabrics for a " chopped" challenge. the fabrics were a gold, a large polka dot, a black fabric with large flowers and a zebra stripe. In the spirit of the tv show inspiration I only used fabrics from my "pantry". The first photo shows the fabrics I used, (the black floral had already been cut up but can be seen as the large connected flowers in the applique. The second shows the entire quilt, the third the center medallion. Hope you enjoy. Please forgive the messy bed! I had forgotten to take photos until the morning I had to turn in the quitl!

Thanks. I was really stumped with that particular fabric. I tried to think of a flower that had zebra in the name but could only come up with tiger lily so I chose a butterfly instead. I went this afternoon to the show. The others were really good too. If the guild posts pictures to the website after the show I'll send a link.
