Question Changing border idea

I originally choice the floral for border and color pallet for a mystery New Year's Day quilt...but now I think I will use the feather fabric in second photo (I had this left from a quilt several years ago) the sharp edges of the pattern changed my perspective of my choice. This is really the freedom of quilt making. any thoughts for me?

Yep, I like the feathers better too. It picks up the salmon from the blocks and goes along with the other colours.

Oh yes- great choice. The feathers provide a little movement, and the colors are spot on!

Yes, the feathers are a little brighter and make the centre section "pop" more. Beautiful work!

I like the colors in the first print chosen, but you are right -- the feathers are very nice. Can't wait to see it all done. Good luck.
