That's such a lovely story, Charisma! I too have "my first quilt", only it's a UFO- very 80's colors- mauve and dark blue. You've inspired me to finish it!

Great story to tell about your progress. The first quilt I made was for my sister (Javin22) several years ago. It is a lap quilt. It took me 2 months to make. Very simple quilt which I could do in a week now. I was actually on the phone with my sister asking her how to sew correctly. She never knew the quilt was for her. I flew to SLC, UT and surprised her with the quilt for her birthday. I have made many quilts now and really have no idea how many I have made. Somewhere arount 35-40
