    No it was not hard you just have to sew the binding to the back instead of the front. Then you need to sew slow and use a stiletto to keep the fabric from moving around. I only sew the binding on childrenís quilts or thing I think will get washed all the time. Itís also a big time saver I would have spent at least 2 hours doing the binding by hand and I did it on the machine in 10min.
