Our Guild gives quilts to the Wounded Worrior program at Camp Pendleton CA and to the local Women's Shelter and the Navy Relief society. So this year I wanted to participate. I made this quilt to give to them this year.

What a great cause. I wonder if the base near me has a program like that???? I may need to check it out!

Great quilt and thanks for giving back! I have made a couple of quilts for the Wounded Warriors program at the local VA Hospital. The response from this program is unbelievable and very humbling.

Very nice quilt! I thought Ridgecrest still had a base (my old summer stomping grounds was Red Mountain). I'm getting ready to donate to Camp Pendleton for the first time as well. Charity sewing is a great stash "buster".
