    I hand appliqued a cat in the lower left corner of this small lap quilt. Her bow was shaded with crayons to make it look more realistic. I also colored in the eyes and nose with crayons, then I hand embroidered over the top with black embroidery floss.

    That is a really beautiful quilt. Love the simplicity with the pop of color. The cat is a great touch of whimsy.
