    Default Charity quilts

I put together these tops on my 3 day retreat. One lady donated the flower fabric which was enough for the orange and blue colorways. They will be donated to the cancer center. The red one consists of abandoned blocks. Some pieces were a single row of about 8" each and others had been assembled into double rows already. So I sewed the single rows into doubles and then sewed everything together jelly roll race style. I turned out rather large... it will be cut in half to make two lap quilts for the cancer center.

Big accomplishment for a retreat time. You are to be commended for thinking of others who need a touch in a tough time. Your quilts will add that touch.

I think a retreat is a perfect place to make charity quilts. You did a beautiful job on all of them.
