Default Charm Squares Quilt

I'm meeting up with a friend next week halfway across the country and she recently had her home broken into while she and her husband were home. I've had my own home invaded and understand how violated this makes a person feel, so I thought a cuddly quilt might make the home feel a little better (ignoring the fact that it's summer now!)

It's made entirely of fabric from my stash, and I just did a big meander over the whole thing after stitching in the ditch around the big center blocks. It's my third quilt ever and the first time I've tried to line up corners so maybe I'll gradually work up the courage to try some of the beautiful designs you ladies create!

Thanks for looking

That's a lovely quilt. What a nice thing to do for someone who's gone through that!

For only your third quilt you are on a roll. You did a great job with the colors and nice design. Such a loving thing to do for your friend.

Very colorful and thoughtful of you to do this for her. I have never had the experience of being invaded and hope I never do. You are a real friend.

I like how you did that I will have to see what fabric I have that can do something like this with the I Spy Blocks I don't have enough for a whole quilt . Beautiful.
