Beautiful, can't tell it is a cheater. I have a cheater hanging in my family room that was yardage of Baltimore Album squares & the only ones who know that I did not hand applique them are the same two friends who also purchased the fabric. So many of my family members tell me it is their favorite quilt. I really don't like the word cheater and usually refer to them as whole cloth. There is still a lot of work in doing them, in this case I just eliminated the applique but the way it is done, (quilted by hand) it looks like I actually appliqued everything on.

Who says we don't like cheater quilts. I love to see what people do with panels, especially the quilting, they are great for practicing quilting. You can embellish them and make them your own. Hopefully there are no quilt police here

I don't see anything wrong with using cheater fabrics, especially if you need something in a hurry, great job

Beautiful work. I love to hand quilt too. I'm afraid one day it will be a lost art. You don't see too many young people taking up the craft.

I like it . I like it a lot! This is a good way to practice hand quilting-which I have barely done. Thanks for the idea. Lovely quilting.
