The pre-printed fabric you used is just perfect for a baby quilt. I think that term 'cheater fabric 'needs to be retired! It used to be that such fabric was poorly printed on fabric that was not great. But, in today's fabric manufacturing the prints are digitally produced and are spectacular in detail and most often made on good quality fabric and are wonderful to work with.

It is still going to be loved and bring smiles to the face of the lucky one who gets it. No matter the 'work' put into a quilt, a person took the time to make it and give it to someone! (BTW - it is so cute!!)

Super cute. I have at least one at home that I need to do. I bought it at a DIME event. It has the cheater quilt but came with embroidery quilt designs so that I can quilt it. Great job on this one.

I agree. And for kids when a quilt will be well used, its a great idea. It will have to withstand lots of washing and dragging etc. All of those things kids put them through and not having all of those block seams will make it last so much longer. We all need things to do in a hurry sometimes.
