Quilter 54 sent me this ADORABLE snow famil quilt. All the little details are amazing..she took so much time and effort in this appliqued quilt.

I thought about this for a bit and decided simple was best.

I outlined each applique..as I would never dream of quilting over someone's hard work..unless they wanted me too..of course. I then outlined the frames and then used little snowflakes and loops in the sashing and outer borders. I actually thought I should seprate the two..started stippling in the blue sashing because it already had snowflakes..didn't like it..ripped it out and started over.

    It is an adorable quilt!

I quilted this free hand on my 26 inch INNOVA. Free-hand..no computer or pantographs quilting.

    Thank you for looking!

Teh sweter on teh snowman looks exactly like a weaved sweater..

The hat on this snow girl looks like it was knitted too!

What a beautiful quilt and a lot of work. The snowflake quilting is the perfect touch!
