I love it, and I am sure she will use it during the chemo treatment and it will be a tremendous success with the entire chemo department, well done!

You did a great job on this quilt. She will love it. You may get some orders from the people in the chemo room with her. So nice of you to do for her.

This is so PERFECT. Your friend sounds so much like my dear friend who had the same attitude when she was fighting stage III breast cancer. For her mastectomy operation she went to a local chocolate place and had chocolate boob lollypops made to hand out. Then she downloaded photos of perfect breasts and handed out voting ballets for her restructuring surgery. She fought that beast with humor, good spirits and true grit the whole way and won. She would have adored this quilt. At that time in my life quilting was not as big a part of me as it is now so it never occurred to me to make her a quilt. Luckily she had other friends who quilted and did.

Sadly 5 years after she won the battle with breast cancer she was diagnosed with unrelated ovarian cancer. She had used everything she had to beat breast cancer. The ovarian took her to our Lord a few years later.

What a great friend you are to have thought of Maria, the quilt is wonderful, I'll have to remember this one. Something on this line
would be great gift denotations for cancer treatment patience.
thank you for sharing this idea.
