Your chicken wall hanging is beautiful. What great memories for your niece. What do you have under your cloth when you paint? I brought the "Ballpoint Embroidery Paint" by Aunt Martha's; have a hard time painting with it. I though it would be faster than embroidering, but not working out for me. Any advice would be gladly appreciated.

Under the fabric, I use either a piece of very stiff interfacing or if it is a very soft fabric, I iron freezer paper to the back. I had put so much starch in this towel since it was so thread bare so I painted with it on the heavy interfacing.
