Default Children's Sewing Machine

I have taken a small interest to these little beauties. I have no interest in trying to use them but just that they are so cute. I purchased the Singer Touch & Sew for $2, The Dressmaker II for $10 and the Necchi for $8. I also have a Singer Sew Handy that I paid a whole lot more for but I just couldn't pass on these for what I consider to be a bargain

I would have loved to have had that Necchi 60 years ago! Even the girl on the box is super cute!

Here is one picture but I can't find others. This looks to one taken before cleaning.

I have a small (10") Casige child's sewing machine but it is not in the best of condition and I don't have the box. I do enjoy having it on the shelf in my sewing room. However, there were several "old" miniature machines that were called "salesman" machines. These were miniature models of the regular size machines. Salesmen used to take them to the homes of potential customers to demonstrate what sewing machines were and how they operated. We have one that is a Foley and Williams model. It is not in great condition also but my DH is going to try to restore it as much as possible.

This is what it should look like

You have a great collection of children's sewing machines. What makes it more special is the fact you have the boxes they came in. Also, the cost of your investment was amazingly low. Thanks so much for sharing.

I've sewn a queen sized quilt on my sew handy. (My hand stitching club said "no machines allowed"....but since mine was small and no electricity, the gave me an exception.) I had fun, and the girls took pictures of me sewing they thought it was so cute. But it worked great and did a fine job. Yours looks in good condition too....How does it work for you?
