I have used RIT as a liquid to paint fabric then nuke but never the powder. What a great looking technique to play with!

Those are beautiful. Wow. I love the circle design. You are so talented. Thank you for sharing the RIT dye instruction - I have dyeing in my future. If I ever get my garden turned over and planted.

My brother just brought back four of these after spending 10 weeks in China. He sent them to me (he's in NJ and I am in NC) but while talking to him later to give him my thanks, he told me how they were the one thing he liked the best of all that he carried back with him. So, I surprised him by sending them back to him (he had sent me a number of other things). Last week, I received from him one of the papercuts matted and framed. Yea, so he surprised me too!!! We had a good laugh about all this. Love that guy.
