I really like what you did on the back of the quilt. For a second quilt I would say you are a natural.

I love that quilt - never get tired of nature colors! Would you mind telling us what size squares you used to make the blocks. I just bought a bunch of 10" and wanted something similar to yours.

Jack, the decorative stitches really set your sashing borders off. Are they done with an Embroidery Machine? Love all the different patterns in the blocks.

The Bernina 440 is capable of embroidering, but have to have the embroidary attachements which I don't have; I just used one of the decorative stitches that is in the machines computer. As for the size of blocks, they are 5", which were actually 5.5" when I cut them out allowing me the 0.25" seam all the way around. Thanks everyone for the compliments. I am pleased with how it turned out.
