In The Quilts and more May edition...they had a quilt called "Fast to Finish" and it is harder than I thought it would be..I think because I usually quilt everything on a stretch fram so I am defunct at this type of quilt. I just used two layer cakes and sewed them together.....rounded the corners....Basted teh large ric rac and then put right sides together with minky....then sewed them and flipped right sides out...I think my quilt is to big for this??? BUt It is really soft and heavy..I have pinned it in all the spots I am going to tie it with buttons. SO it is really poofy and wrinkly but it will be loved anyway. Lesson learned....This is teh new Basic Grey collection from MOda...LOVE IT!

I am loving the ric rac on this quilt. I would have never thought of using it that way. BTW another great quilt.

Just looked at this line on-line last night and wondered what it would look like.

Yours looks so comfy and warm (at 81* in my home currently) for) those cool winter nights.

Very nice.
