Christmas Checeker Runner - Revised
#1
I finished that checker runner. but found that I wasn't pleased. It was missing....something.
So....I did what any quilter would do...kept going :-)
I used my graphics program to make an equal star and a christmas tree.
Used template plastic, and with a pencil traced the star and tree.
Cut out my template (and keep it in a bag for future use).
Used a washable fine tip marker and traced the pattern onto the red squares. Then, with a little nervousness, used a gold glitter thread. The picture sorta looks like I used yellow, but it's actually a gold glittering thread. Glitter thread wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.
I'm VERY pleased with the new results. These images shows what I posted before and the a sectioin of the now complete runner.
