Thread: Christmas Checker Runner

    This was a new technique for me....Strip Cutting (I think it's called)

    Turned out better than I thought it would.
    And...with the recent help I've had in here...quilting and seams went like a charm.

    Thanks to all for your input.

    No, I'm not hooked....yet :)

    My next project is going to be crazy quilting with all sorta of scraps that I have left over...just to see if I can do it.

    I don't want to the same thing twice. The more ways I learn, the more I'll find my "niche". I figure, by doing crazy, I'll learn to sew all sorts of pieces: rectangles, triangles, 1/4 triangles, 1/2 triangles, squares, and other various shapes

    Hey if you make it bigger, you could make a checkerboard mat for checkers! Great job!
