    Christmas feathered star

The pattern info is in my first thread about this mini quilt....https://www.quiltingboard.com/pictur...r-t292238.html

I made this with stash pieces as an experiment-my first feathered star. I hope to make a larger quilt this winter- it was fun, and I hope to do Marsha McCloskey quilt. The dark green fabric in the star points would have been a better binding choice, but I did not have enough fabric.

I love what you did with this, and I think the red is fine for binding!

It is lovely Jill and the red binding suits very well. Good luck with your larger project.

I like the red binding very much. I tend towards a binding color that will pull a less significant color in the body of the quilt to make it 'pop' a bit more. The whole quilt is great, btw.

I love your quilt. Actually I like the red binding better than I think I would have liked the green. Nice job!
