I love your gifts. It is nice to put your heart into something for someone you love. The first holiday without a loved one is difficult...so bittersweet.
Glad you are traveling to be with family, Polly. My dear father-in-law passed away about seven weeks ago, and we are facing one of those years ourselves. Take care and take some time for yourself.

What beautiful gifts. My mother passed away 3 years ago in October. I am thinking your mom is visiting my mom in heaven and talking about how their daughters love making quilts.
