You can say Merry Christmas. I say Merry Christmas and someone says thank you. If their holiday is different they say Happy ............. and I say thank you. I don't think we can go wrong if we all share our blessing and feelings rather than feeling we are "incorrect". There is no incorrect.

I say both Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. There are people I see today and won't see again for a few weeks--those are the people I say Happy Holidays to because I'm including Christmas and New Year's. It has nothing to do with being politically correct.

It is great. But please it is Christmas and it says so on the calender. It is better to be right than political correct.
