    Christmas Lap Quilt

Almost one year ago I won a bundle of fabric which had 24 fat quarters. This was a free mystery pattern quilt along which I didn't do at the time but downloaded the pattern and made it later. Sorry I can't remember from where. I finally got it finished and did the scrappy binding. I wanted to use a couple of the strips that wouldn't work for the front of the quilt so I used them on the back of the quilt. This is my third thing to quilt on my long arm machine that I got in April. I think I'm getting more comfortable with my machine. Thanks for looking.

oh that is lovely. love the scrappy binding too. it's hard doing binding scrappy and making sure the seams don't end up in your quilt corners. good job!!!

I found the link to where the pattern came from:
    http://www.mccallsquilting.com/blogs...y-quilt-along/

So I'm guessing the name of the quilt is "Westward Journey". There are something like 6 post you can follow for all the instructions.

Thanks for all the comments. Yes I was lucky when I did the scrappy binding. I layed it out first to make sure they didn't end on the corners.
