I went to allpeoplequilt and tried to make one of these babies this evening. Spent 2hrs and definitely did something wrong.
Seems like the lining is too big for the bag. Gonna try again tomorrow when I am feeling bad.

I posted my little tote bags make of Christmas fabric a couple weeks ago. I made 12 and took them to our monthly quilt group meeting and gave them away as door prizes. Since then several people have told me how much fun they are having making these little easy totes. I got the idea from a post that made them with Halloween fabric which were really cute. One thing I did was also squared the lining piece and it fit better in side the bag. I'm glad so many people are liking the totes. I am going to make a couple a little larger using the same pattern so I can gift a couple gifts that won't fit into the 3" size.
