    Christmas Placemats

I made these a couple of years ago for one of my friends parents for Christmas. They live in assisted living now, and I love to make them just a little something for the Holidays. Thanks for looking.Name: DSCN0753.JPG

They are so pretty! I really like them, and I am not always a huge fan of Christmas-y things. They are so cheerful, it is almost a shame to put a plate on top of them!

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000 step process."
