We don't have a dining room table, so I chose to make placemats at a class last week. This was supposed to be a table topper, 8 squares by 8 squares. The pattern is "Abundantly Blessed" by Cottonway. It was a fun, one night class.

Since I had them at work for show and tell, I laid them out on the boardroom table for pix. No camera, so I'm sorry if the cell pix are not real great.

    Thanks for looking. :)

I like them. Are they hand stitched cathedral windows or machine stitched?

Katie....they were very easy. I had two Moda C'mas charm packs, so I used those. Squares are put together, a narrow border attached to all 4 sides. Batting and backing cut slightly larger than the top. Sandwich, and pin on the eye-shape pieces, (template included with the pattern). After stitching on the small pieces, the edge is trimmed to make the curved outer shape. The edges of the eye-shape pieces are raw edged, so when washed it will give it an aged look.

Try this link for the pattern....
