Default Christmas presents completed

In January my husband of 51 years passed away - my therapy was to make a throw size quilt from his flannel shirts for each of our three children. There was also enough flannel left to make teddy bears for each of our 12 grandchildren. The patch above the bears heart says "Remembering Bopa" which was his pet name given by our first grandchild.

I'm sorry for the loss of your husband but you have done a beautiful job preserving his memory for your children and grandchildren (as though they could ever forget) . Quilting is wonderful therapy that just keeps on giving. Stay strong.

They are so beautiful! What a lovely way to honor your husband's and your children's dad's memory alive. I love the bears and the quilt on the right.

I can imagine all the love, memories, and tears that went into these quilts and bears. I’m sure it’ll be an emotional Christmas but you are giving priceless treasures.
