What beautiful treasures you are giving your children - memories of their Dad and Granddad and also of their Mom and Grandma for creating them.

WOW! What a Christmas morning you are going to have! So many tears, but tears of joy and remembering. It will help turn a sadness into something joyful. (I did a similar thing when my Grandmother - more a mom to all- passed. It was one of our best Christmas days ever. Lots of stories told and laughing instead of sadness.) Bless you and your family.

My DIL this with her grandfathers flannel shirts, she made pillows for each person, it was really neat, she cut each shirt into a 18 inch square over the buttons on the shirt, she included the pocket so each pillow had a pocket, I helped her, she cut and i sewed and it was a lot of fun.
I love your quilts and teddys, and your kids and grands will have such a sweet momento of him

So Sorry for your loss. You did a great job on the quilts and bears. They are adorable. May I ask where you got the bear pattern?
