I longarmed this quilt for the owner of a local quilt shop. She'll be hanging it in her shop! The quilt measures 84 1/2" by 91 1/2" and I used Hobbs 80/20 and Superior's King Tut thread. She gave me carte blanc to do as I wanted. But with so much "busy-ness" in the quilt, I had to tone down what I wanted to do!!! :)

This is a fine quilt. Your quilting certainly is appropriate to the quilt. I bet she loves the details of your quilting. what did you do with that very busy border?

Fabulous job. You didn't overwhelm the quilt with your quilting. I know it's difficult but sometimes you have to let the quilt shine. Seems it has to be one or the other.

when i first looked at that, it reminded me of a carpet!
those large borders are certainly busy---
