I just finished (in the Nick -- teehee -- of time) this stocking for my new grandson, Lincoln. It's one of my favorite things I've made. I hand embroidered his name on it, since my machine embroidery techniques need improvement.

I bet you made this while you were snowed in, I heard on the news you got 23 inches of snow, we got 6 here in NW NJ. I also made a stocking this year for my new granddaugther, its a wonderful keepsake. Thanks for sharing.

You are right!!! About the amount of snowfall (23") -- practically unheard of here at the "Jersey Shore" -- and my working on the stocking on Sunday. Did you take a picture of your stocking?
