Well, I've finally finished the quilt I have been planning for 2 years. I selected the fabrics for my son and his now newlywed wife. They are both into Japanese culture - not asian! They have no ideal what is in store for them - they'll be home in a few hours and find this on their bed.

I'm fairly new to quilting and have really gotten hooked. Every minute of the day I'm constantly thinking what a great quilt that would make. This quilt is only my second one to make, other than a couple of baby quilts for the ladies in the church.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and a joyous new year. Can't wait to continue with the mystery quilt.

Your quilt is beautiful. Is there really a place called Snowball, Arkansas?

Yes, there really is a place called Snowball, AR - and believe it or not it even was snowing here when we woke up this morning.
