I finished my new Table Centre for Christmas last evening - just ready for lunchtime tomorrow.
It is a little different in construction, in that I appliqued the holly leaved, in gold lame, to my centre top, then put a layer of gold organza over the top of the other layers before quilting through everything (by hand).

Thank you Loretta - I added the organza to tone down the lame, which was too bright for what I wanted.

It's absolutely beautiful Lacelady. Seems almost a shame to cover up your lovely echo quilting with the candle! How far apart are your echo rows?

About a quarter of an inch, the whole thing measures 24 inches square

I'd love some, but funds won't allow. I already have a 'best' set, plus an every day set, and can't justify another one.
