It seats 18, I had 55 for dinner last Saturday. Still recovering.

I actually do sew in here. My "sewing room" is actually a fabric storage facility.

No, I just did a strip of rail fence, then just a plain strip the same width. Then I used a 1" binding. Here's a close up:
