Default Christmas Tree Quilt for church bazaar

Saw this tutorial on MSQC and decided this had to be made. Had the green fabrics for a wallhanging that I liked at one time but now wondered why I liked it-does anyone else do that? Then I got cutting and got carried away so had enough squares for two quilts. Both are done the second one needs the binding hand sewing done. Have not made a Christmas one for the bazaar so thought this one was perfect. My quilter friend has just started doing long arm quilting and think she is doing a great job. If you look at the green border you see curly cues (not sure of their official names) and then snowflakes. She is a natural. Thanks for looking.

That is sew cute. I'd love to see some ornaments hanging from the branches. If you were going to keep the quilt, it would be memorable to put the faces of your children or grandchildren or mom and dad in the middle of the ornaments. You have the basis for a wonderful family heirloom.

Very pretty. You have a modernist design to express a traditional theme. Creativity at its best.
