Thread: church bazaar quilt

    First time trying to post, hope it works. This is my quilt for our bazaar raffle. I'm the only quilter in our church. I do stitch in the ditch on my old Singer, the first picture is just starting out. I make what I call 'working quilts' the kind when on the bed you can sit on and put your socks on.

    I love this pattern! I made one similar mom while taking care of her after she broke her hip. She was so proud to be the first to every sleep under it.
    Your choice of colors are beautiful.

    Yes, I turn my sewing machine around and use my dining room table to spread out on. A note about my table, it was left in the house we live in when my MIL moved here in 1949. She paid 25 cents for it. Has leaves to seat 18.
