I have actually finished a holiday wall hanging BEFORE Christmas instead of after for a change! The individual blocks are toile machine embroidery, and the borders and binding are Fairy Frost that match the thread. I didn't want to take a chance of messing this up by quilting it myself. But I am practicing my meandering so that the next one I make (the next one is red and gold), I will attempt to quilt myself. I am having a blast with my Bernina 830.

Great job! Winter is coming, I hope! Most are suffering with 100+ temperatures.

Gorgeous!! I just love the block of the house. I collect line drawings in that style and hang them at Christmas. What a wonderful wall hanging you've made.

I am not ready for snow--will never be! But I love paintings of winter scenes and snow for some reason. I will take the 100 degree days we are having any day. Don't have to shovel heat; don't get cabin fever with heat! And there is good old air conditioning!
