Thank you all for your nice comments. Juliab it was our family reunion not a class reunion but we usually get together twice a year, the 4th of July and New Years. We had a great family reunion and although we had a lot that weren’t able to attend, we still had 83 in attendance. I ended up making and giving 25 gifts. These 5 runners in my two postings here along with vinyl hand sanitizer holders, cosmetic bags, in the hoop zipper bags, coaster sets, tall clear vinyl bag (I put hairspray can, tall items when traveling), and some fold over pouches that have clear vinyl compartments. They seem to all like their gifts.
I have to tell you this. I knew there was no way I could make a gift for every woman there. I just kept sewing and ended with 25 because I thought that was a good number and also I was running out of time. When I put all the ladies names in a bowl to draw I told my son-in-law and my hubby I felt bad bc only a very few would not get anything. However, before we had the drawing 3 women left so I had exactly enough for ALL the ladies. Talk about God blessing the giver! I was so happy no one was without a gift!!!
