Love the pattern, too. Just a few color changes and you could have a gallery of quilts that all look so different.
Beautiful quilting. Really accents the block design.

How is that put together? I can see it can't be done by simply sewing blocks together....

I dont have the pattern for this, but all the star blocks are 13 1/2" and the four corners are rectangular pieces. I am going to ask the customer what pattern this is when she comes to pick it up. I will try to remember to post it when I find out.

    Thanks, Harriet!

Oh--I finally figured it out. Duh. I drew some lines on it to see the sections. It is in blocks: star, four large flying geese blocks, and the solid rectangles. :-D

I really like this quilt and your quilting. Is that done on a long arm I assume?

    its beautiful!

    what batting are you using?

it works very well with the density of the quilting you've done.

This batting was Fairfield Quilters 80/20. The customer provided it. It had to a little to much stretch for my liking and was hard to lay flat. I prefer the Hobbs 80/20 which I keep in stock.

It may be a simple pattern as you said, but your quilting makes it stunning.
