Default Civil War Quilt

At long last I have finished my civil war quilt. Like a few people 2 years ago I followed Barbara Brackmans Civil War block of the week-the blocks were finished but say there and recently had the inspiration to finish. I even managed to find some Abraham Lincoln fabric to complete the block in the middle to link it all as a Civil War Quilt. Most interesting was also the American history lesson each week and I learnt so much along the way.
I have not posted for a while-has been a busy time with work.
I am also looking forward to meeting up with one of the members on this board when she visits Cairns in a few weeks and being able to show her and her husband around this beautiful part of the world.
Hopefully I will spend more time quilting and finishing more quilts-there are plenty to do-next on the list is to put together the Farmers Wife Blocks??
Enjoy

Wonderful quilt!! I love civil war era fabrics. I made a Civil War BOM with our guild and the top still waits to be sandwiched and quilted. There are lots of scraps that I am looking forward to use in another top.
