The quilt was designed by Homestead Hearth and is called Civil War Tribute. It was offered by a LQS but it is also being offered by Keepsake Quilting. Some of the blocks were pretty hard. It was cheaper getting it through the LQS but here's the Keepsake Quilting link.

Nope, no pins, no thread, no guns, just spray basting. Some people may not like using "chemicals" but I sure don't have the knees or back for crawling around on a floor or bending over a table for hours. My new motto.....Better quilting with chemicals.

The quilting took hours and hours, but I didn't want to do an over-all design so each block is individually quilted with SID and echo (shadow?) quilting. Afraid I can't help you much with t-shirt quilt as I have never done one but I can assure you if I do one it will be spray basted. Once basted I would start quilting in the center and work my way to the edges.
