The bag it comes in was the original material.

Oh what a beautiful quilt! Your choice of fabric was spectacular. My limited experience has been with matching four squares for a different pattern.

Would you recommend something like this for a take along project for handsewing or is it much easier to accomplish by machine?

I am not up to the speed of J. Beyers, but would like something for the long haul.
